Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life is definitely for us. That's because, thanks to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, there have been some majorly fine men we've come to treasure.
With the latest installment in the series, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" opening in theaters today, we wanted to look back at the hotties we'd gladly hop aboard any ship for (well, maybe not Queen Anne's Revenge...) We also want to ask you, Captain Crushers, which of the handsome "Pirates" stars is your fave?
Is there anyone cooler than Captain Jack Sparrow? Oh right, Johnny Depp! The handsome actor (who only seems to be getting better with age) has brought us not only one of the most unconventional pirates in movie history, but undoubtedly one of the most fun to look at. Moviegoers have been falling in love with Johnny as sexy swashbuckler Captain Jack since 2003, but we have a lifelong crush on the star that will never walk the plank.
Of course, Johnny isn't the only one we've been swooning over in the "Pirates" movies. Before he sailed off into other projects, Orlando Bloom's turn as Will Turner shivered quite a few timbers. Thanks to Will's adventurous and romantic (he was head-over-boots for Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann) side, he made it almost impossible for us to choose between him and Captain Jack.
With Orlando's departure, there was a major hottie void about to take place in the "Pirates" movies. Thankfully, Sam Claflin stepped in to help! In "On Stranger Tides," the beautiful Brit (who will soon sweep us off our feet in "Snow White and the Huntsman") plays a missionary by the name of Philip Davies, who is on the hunt for the Fountain of Youth. But it seems our love for him is already springing eternal (he's this week's Hump Day Hottie)!
